The Airbus helicopter maintenance factory is in the Romanian city of Ghimbav close to Brasov.Since 1972 Airbuses collaborates with IAR Company for the manufacturing of helicopters Alouette III and Puma then for the maintenance of these aircrafts. In 2018 Airbuses Helicopters Industries will make H215 helicopters. These last two years 15 million euros were invested in the factory and by the beginning of the assembly line; it will be 52 million which will be invested. The objective of production is 15 copters H215 a year. Since Mr Serge Durand the new director arrived in 2015, the company set up in a policy of serious human resource for landing in the natural phase of retirement of a big part of the employees. Today Airbus in Romania it is 200 employees and before two years 500 to distribute on the maintenance of the fleet and the manufacturing of new. And the newcomers often work in binomials with former technicians to learn threads.To prevent the lack of qualified and specialized workers in the next years which come, Airbus Helicopters sponsored two programs for technicians in aeronautical, aero-electric and cell of aircraft in the secondary school for vocational training of Brasov.This year it is 87 students who follow this program and shall obtain technicians' diploma.L’usine de maintenance d’hélicoptère d’Airbus est en Roumaine, dans le village de Ghimbav près de Brasov.Depuis 1972 Airbus collabore avec IAR pour la fabrication d’hélicoptères Alouette III and Puma puis pour la maintenance de ces aéronefs.En 2018 Airbus Helicopters Industries fabriquera les hélicoptères H215.
